T Brand - Calvin Klein
Punk Rock Bookmaking
The Project
T Brand Studio, the New York Times' branded content arm, partnered with Calvin Klein to spotlight emerging voices in art and activism. We were tasked with creating a compelling branded content piece profiling Sharon de la Cruz, an innovative artist, activist, and zine maker whose work embodies the intersection of creativity and social consciousness.
Our Approach
We created a visual narrative that balanced Calvin Klein's aesthetic with Sharon de la Cruz's artistic world. Our focus was on authentically showcasing Sharon's creative process and the impact of her work, capturing both the intimate moments of art creation and the powerful responses it evokes. Through thoughtful cinematography, we combined Sharon's story with the project's branded elements, resulting in content that felt genuine and engaging. This approach allowed us to create a piece that respected both the artist's vision and Calvin Klein's identity, delivering a compelling narrative.
